We encourage everyone to REGISTER EARLY! This will ensure two things:
  1. You will get into the program that you want as class sizes are limited and
  2. We will have enough individuals to hold the class so we do not have to cancel due to low enrollment.
(MAIA has the right to refuse your registration should a class be full and it also has the right to cancel classes with less than the minimum enrollment.)

Registrations can be accepted by:
Mail: MAIA 91 Cedar Street, Milford, MA 01757
Fax: 508-634-2929
Phone: 508-634-2900 / 800-222-2699
Walk-ins and Registrations received within 24 hours of the class will have an additional $10.00 charge added to the course fee.

Tuition varies based on the class you are taking and your membership status. Tuition is due upon registration. We accept checks, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

All classes are subject to a cancellation/transfer fee.
Licensed Producers in the state of Massachusetts are required to attain certain levels of CE in order to maintain/renew your license.

A newly licensed insurance producer must complete 60 hours of continuing education credits prior to their initial license renewal date; otherwise a licensed producer must complete 45 such credit hours during the 36-month period prior to license renewal.

As of 9/17/14, Insurance producers must complete an approved 3 hour ethics program for each renewal cycle. This new requirement does not increase the overall number of CE hours an insurance producer must complete, it only requires that ethics training make up at least 3 hours of the total CE earned.

The Massachusetts Division of Insurance has contracted with Prometric to track the CE in the state. To view your CE transcript, please visit their site at

CE is tracked via your MA Resident Producer License Number, if you do not supply MAIA with that number or you fail to request CE at the class, we will not be able to submit the credits on your behalf.

If you do not comply with the continuing education law, the Division of Insurance may suspend your license pending completion of your CE requirement and/or you may be subject to a civil fine of not less than $20.00 nor more than $100.00 for each hour of instruction you fail to complete.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Individual insurance producers who fail to comply with CE requirements, and who are named as a member and/or designated licensed responsible producer on a business entity license in Massachusetts, may also subject the business entity license to being suspended.

In accordance with Title III of the ADA, we invite all registrants to advise us of any disability and to make any special request for reasonable accommodation to that disability at least 3 weeks in advance of the program you wish to attend.
