This FEMA Flood Map Changes web training is aimed at insurance agents and lenders. It explores the impact mapping changes have on insurance agents and lenders as well as their clients.

Learn how to better service insureds and borrowers by understanding how mapping changes affect rates, premiums, and the mandatory purchase of flood insurance. Know how to best help your clients both before and after map changes.

A working knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program to include familiarity with the Preferred Risk Policy as well as the program's grandfather rating rules and its basic terminology, e.g. Pre-FIRM and Post-FIRM, is considered helpful before attending this topic-specific workshop.
