The Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) Designation can be earned in just 9 one-day seminars! Combine your technical knowledge of insurance coverages with sales expertise and apply it to actual sales situations. The program will:

The Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) program is a practical program that stresses the understanding and analysis of risks and exposures. A student should have a basic knowledge of insurance. The CISR program consists of 5 one-day courses that cover all phases of the CSR's daily work. They are as follows: Agency Operations, Commercial Casualty, Personal Residential, Personal Auto, and Commercial Property. You may take the courses in any order.
Each course is followed by a one-hour exam. Anyone may attend the courses and receive the CEUs without taking the exam. However, if you wish to attain the designation, you must pass each of the 5 exams. To earn the CISR designation you must successfully complete the program and pass the exams within three calendar years following the passage of the first exam.

The Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) program is a nationally acclaimed designation program. Its advanced course content and practical application make it the most essential program for both agency and company personnel. If you have two years of insurance experience as an agency owner, producer, agency staff member, CISR, advanced CSR, company underwriter, company branch manager or experienced company employee, you qualify to attend a CIC institute.
The CIC designation is earned by attending the five institutes: Personal Lines, Life & Health, Commercial Property, Agency Management and Commercial Casualty and passing each exam within a five-year period. You will receive 25 continuing education credits (CEUs) for attending each CIC Institute. You do not need to take the exam to receive the CEUs. You must take and pass the five exams to obtain your CIC designation.

Certified Risk Managers (CRM) International, a not-for-profit professional organization, offers risk management practitioners the premier educational opportunity available today. The CRM Program, a part of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, is designed specifically to meet the need of practicing risk management professionals for technical knowledge in all major areas of risk management. The focus of the program curricula is directed towards current, relevant, comprehensive information and the application of skills.
Individuals who successfully complete the entire CRM course of study can earn the designation of "Certified Risk Manager". Achieving the designation requires successful completion of the examinations of all five CRM courses within a five-year period. |

MAIA is pleased to offer the Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist Designation Program (CRIS®) in partnership with International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI ®). The Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) program is a specialized curriculum focusing on the insurance and risk management needs of construction projects and contractors. Those who complete the program are entitled to display the CRIS certification to certify their knowledge of construction insurance and risk management and dedication to the industry. To obtain the CRIS certification, you complete 5 specialized courses on construction risks and insurance and then pass the corresponding on-line examination. To maintain the CRIS certification, you obtain only 7 hours of approved construction risk and insurance continuing education credit during the initial 24 months and every 12 months thereafter. |
