Commercial Umbrellas – How Do They Work…and When Don’t They Work?
CEUs: 1
Speaker(s): Mike D’Orlando, CIC, LIA, CPIA, Educational Training & Consulting Services

If you've seen one, you've seen them all … Or have you?! According to IRMI (International Risk Management Institute), there are at least 186 different Umbrellas on the market!! What are some of the differences and things to watch out for?? … And we tell our insureds that Umbrellas are designed to provide higher limits and broader coverage than the underlying policies, but have we told them there are times when the underlying policies are broader than the Umbrella? What is "concurrency" and why is it important?? We’ll look at these issues and more!
