Someone Was Hurt at My Home! Am I Liable?
Speaker(s): Robin Federici, CPCU, AAI, ARM, AINS, AIS, CPIW, Insurance Education & Training Associates
This intermediate topic presents an overview of the HO liability coverage and how it would respond depending on the status of the person who has entered the insured’s premises. Whether our insured is liable or not is more complicated than we may realize, based on common law and the state’s view of the person’s status when entering.
