Flood: Just the Facts
CEUs: Massachusetts CE credits applied for

Speaker(s): Paula M. Keith, CPIW, AIAM

Just the Facts provides attendees with a basic understanding of the National Flood Insurance Program. The course opens with history of the National Flood Insurance Program, how the program came about and why. Discussion then moves on to how the program works with regards to the guidelines, regulations, coverage’s, as well as underwriting information and much more. The course is designed to give those who have little or limited knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program the basics to get started. For those who deal with the program on a regular basis, a wider understanding of the program and its intricacies should be acquired.

The objectives of this seminar are to provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to:

Comprehend the Standard Flood Insurance Policy

Provide attendees with knowledge of the rules and regulations of the National Flood Insurance Program
Accordingly, the seminar has been approved by the NFIP to provide the Flood Certification required in most states for licensed Property and Casualty agents who sell or intend to sell flood insurance.
