Workers' Compensation Program

As of November 1, 2002, the Massachusetts Workers' Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau (WCRIB) no longer requires declination letters. They do, however, require the names of two (2) carriers unwilling to write the business.

If you must go to the pool:

  • Use the new WC pool application available at the WCRIB website www.wcribma.org
  • View the list of acceptable class codes for MAIA's programs. If any class code is listed as ineligible for Hartford or Norfolk & Dedham Group, you may complete Section II #1 of the pool application as follows:
Insurance Company
Name of Representative
Date
Phone
The Hartford Barbara Lobdell xx/xx/xx 508-634-7362
Norfolk & Dedham Group Barbara Lobdell xx/xx/xx 508-634-7362

PLEASE DO NOT FAX REQUESTS FOR DECLINATIONS.

Below is a list of carriers that we have used in the past and their contact information.
