Membership in the Massachusetts Association of Insurance
Agents (MAIA) is open to independent, licensed insurance agencies doing
business as individuals, partnerships, corporations or other forms of
business organizations operating within and subscribing to the principles,
aims and objectives of the American Agency System or required to do business
with a non-agency company under a state-created insurance program.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP:
The Massachusetts Association
of Insurance Agents (MAIA) is the leading trade association for over
1,600 Massachusetts independent insurance agencies and their estimated
10,000 employees. To qualify as an Associate Member of MAIA, an individual
must be:
- a non-resident independent insurance agent
from another state having no physical office location in Massachusetts,
- an employee of an Insurance Company,
- a Surplus Lines Carrier doing business
through the American Agency System, or
- a
vendor offering products & services
to independent agents.
An Associate Member can take advantage
of several opportunities to reach the Massachusetts insurance community
and members of MAIA. In addition, Associate Members qualify for member
discounts on most of our products
& services, plus instant access to MAIA newsletters.
