New Agent Training Program

This is a MAIA Program.

As agencies are finding themselves needing to hire individuals with no insurance background, they are looking for ways to train them in a timely and cost-effective manner.

We have developed a “New Agent Training Program” geared towards folks who are new to the industry. You can choose the Personal Lines track or the Commercial Lines track and get a certificate of completion!

And if you’re already licensed, CEU credits can be earned along the way!

Please Note: If an attendee wishes to take both tracks and earn both certificates, they can only earn CE for the 'Insurance Basics & Policy Interpretation' and 'Introduction to RMV' classes once.

Personal Lines Track

Training time: 39 hours
Cost: Member $575 / Non-Member $1,150

Format:

A) Five In-Person Classes or Webinar Classes

Day 1: Homeowners Coverage
Day 2: Condo and HO Endorsements
Day 3: MA Personal Auto
Day 4: Introduction to The RMV
Day 5: Auto Endorsements and Personal Umbrella

B) Three 3-Hour In-Person Videos

Insurance Basics & Policy Interpretation
HO Coaching
MA Auto Coaching

Commercial Lines Track

Training time: 54 hours
Cost: Member $850 / Non-Member $1,700

Format:

A) Seven In-Person Classes or Webinar Classes

Day 1: Commercial Property Coverage
Day 2: CP Endorsements and Workers Comp
Day 3: Commercial Auto Coverage
Day 4: Introduction to the RMV
Day 5: Commercial General Liability
Day 6: DO/Cyber/Professional Liability/Bonds Coverage
Day 7: CGL Endorsements, COI, CP vs BOP

B) Four 3-Hour In-Person Videos
